CYBER KNIGHT AWARD
The Cyber Knight Award is intended to recognize the unsung heroes and heroines of the Internet who are quietly giving of themselves to make cyberspace a better place for all of us. Just as the Knights of old were dedicated to helping the helpless and righting wrongs in their small corner of the world, so these selfless individuals are finding ways to make a difference online.
The Cyber Knight Newsletter is dedicated to providing a place to say "Thank You!" to all these folks and give special recognition, the Cyber Knight Award, to a few that have gone way beyond the call of duty.
Anyone is encouraged to submit the name of someone they know that might fit our profile and a short description of their contribution for consideration as a Cyber Knight. Please remember, this award is NOT recognizing accomplishment in their field, such as a cool new program or website. There are already awards for those things. We are looking for those who are giving of themselves to help others without any intent of personal gain.
Cyber Knight Newsletter will select up to 25 nominees with the most submissions and will recognize these quarterly in the newsletter. Subscribers will then vote on the nominee they feel best exemplifies the ideals of a Cyber Knight. The nominee with the most votes will be Knighted, receive the Cyber Knight’s Award, be featured in the next newsletter, and be permanently posted into the newsletter’s Roundtable page.
